2023 Alaska Black Bear Fishing Combo

We have been blessed to travel to some pretty special places over the years. We can honestly say this was one of our all time favorite trips and an experience we will not soon forget. Everything from the scenery, to the boat and especially the crew, were top notch. You will  spend the mornings, drinking hot coffee while we are on the way to the Captains favorite fishing spot. Once our limit is caught, we are on the look out for bears.  The bear portion is what is called a “transport hunt”, meaning you spot the bear from the boat, tell the Captain, who will then take you to shore, where you are responsible for your hunt, and getting the bear back close to the water for transport back to the main boat. The boat crew is not allowed to help with the bear portion of the trip but OS staff will help with instruction on proper quartering and butchering. All fish will be taken to a processor at the dock to be processed and shipped to your address (not included in cost) there is a separate meat processor for the bear that you can drop your meat off to on the way back to Ancorage.
